Hey there, lovely readers,
I hope you and yours are in good health and life is treating you well. A very warm welcome to newcomers and a genuine thanks to those of you who have been with me for longer and continue to support my writing. I am always grateful to you for giving me your time and reading my newsletter.
This month’s update is a short one as I’m caught between wrangling Shopify settings and wrestling with my book edits. Progress is slower than I’d like, and the stress is higher, but I’m still (mostly) upright. On the upside, I’m now pretty familiar with completing certain edits in the epub file. As html has never featured in any past, present of future visions of my achievements, I’m taking this as a win—small though it may be.
If I feel my imagination as a writer is a strength, as a business owner, I’m more of a boots-on-the-ground plodder. But, genuinely, despite the chaos, I’m excited! The Shopify shop is closer to launching, and I’m currently uploading the books, tweaking blurbs and SEO descriptions and am on Step 5 of 12, and closer to opening the store.
As far as the new book goes, today I uploaded it to several eBook retailers for preorder. The Skeletons We Keep, is an emotional rollercoaster of a domestic noir psychological thriller. I have to acknowledge that my caffeine-fueled determination is getting me there.
Thanks for hanging in there with me; your patience means the world. I’m looking forward to adding the link to my Shopify store at the end of the newsletter. Stay tuned for more updates soon—hopefully with fewer typos and maybe even a grand store-opening digital fanfare!
Thank you for reading. If you want to see what else I get up to, check out my website where you can find details of my books and audiobooks, free and otherwise:

Stay safe and well. See you soon.
Best wishes,
